Overview
Get Uncanny Toolkit Pro installed, licensed, and ready so you can start turning on the Pro modules that extend your LearnDash site. This guide walks through the full setup from download to activation
Installation
- Confirm the free Toolkit is active. In your WordPress dashboard, go to Plugins and verify that Uncanny Toolkit for LearnDash is installed and activated.
- Download Toolkit Pro. Get the plugin .zip from either your purchase confirmation email or the Downloads section of your My Account page.
- Upload the plugin. In WordPress, go to Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin, choose the .zip file you downloaded, and click Install Now.
- Activate. Once the upload finishes, click Activate.
License & Updates
After activation, WordPress sends you to the Toolkit Pro Settings page. Enter your license key and activate the plugin from there.
Activating your license does two things: it unlocks the Pro modules and it enables automatic updates, so you’ll be prompted to update Pro from your Plugins screen just like any other plugin. Keep the license active to keep receiving updates and support.
New admin UI (v4.4): Toolkit Pro v4.4 introduced a redesigned, standardized Uncanny Owl admin interface that’s shared across our plugins. If your screen looks different from older screenshots, this is expected.
New “Uncanny Toolkit” tab on LearnDash edit screens (v4.4.1): WordPress 7.0 tucks classic metaboxes into a collapsed pane in the block editor. To keep Toolkit Pro’s per-item settings easy to find, v4.4.1 adds a dedicated Uncanny Toolkit tab to the LearnDash settings header when you edit a Course, Lesson, Topic, or Group (for the active modules that add settings to those screens). If a module’s options look like they’ve disappeared after upgrading to WordPress 7.0, open the Uncanny Toolkit tab. Quiz edit screens are not affected.
Initial Configuration
With Pro licensed, you turn features on one module at a time:
- Open the Uncanny Toolkit admin page.
- Find the Pro module you want (modules are listed alongside the free ones).
- Activate the module, then open its settings to configure it.
Only the modules you activate run on your site, so you can enable just what you need.
