Overview
Send each LearnDash Group’s members to a page of your choosing the moment they log in — a client portal, a group landing page, or a custom dashboard. This is for sites that want a tailored entry point per group.
By default, every user lands on the same page after logging in. Group Login Redirect lets you set a different destination for each group, so members arrive exactly where they should — for example, sending a client organization’s staff straight to their branded portal.
Configure It
When the module is enabled, new fields appear on the LearnDash Group edit page.
Where to find these fields (Toolkit Pro v4.4.1+): On the group edit screen, these settings are reached through a dedicated Uncanny Toolkit tab in the LearnDash settings header. v4.4.1 added this tab so the fields stay easy to find under WordPress 7.0’s block editor, which otherwise collapses classic metaboxes out of view. The settings themselves are unchanged — only where you click to reach them.
- Redirect members on login — enter the URL you want this group’s members sent to when they log in. This is the only required setting.
- Redirect priority — leave this blank in most cases. Set a number only in these situations:
- A user is in multiple groups with redirects. The redirect with the highest priority number wins.
- The redirect isn’t working. Another plugin may be overriding it with a higher-priority redirect. Enter a number larger than 99 — try 99999 if you want this redirect to take precedence over everything else.
Shortcodes
Reuse the group’s redirect URL elsewhere on your site — in menus, buttons, or image links.

Please note that if you also use the “Log In/Log Out Redirects” module as a fallback, this module has a priority of 999, so it will override the default “Group Login Redirect” priority of 99. And since the priority of “Log In/Log Out Redirects” is non-editable, you will have to _always_ enter at least 1000 in the “Redirect priority” field of “Group Login Redirect”.
This looks like just what we’re looking for. Are there any known conflicts with BuddyBoss theme/platform?
No, this is widely used with BuddyBoss. Note that the redirect is based on LearnDash Group membership though, not BuddyBoss social groups (in some cases they’re in sync, not always, so I wanted to make sure the distinction was clear).
Thanks for checking Ryan. Yes, we’d be using this to redirect based on LD Group, not BuddyBoss group.
Is there any way to redirect based on user role with this?
No, this plugin doesn’t support role-based redirect. For something like that we might suggest the Peter’s Login Redirect plugin.
